Reyna Rock presents a harmonious balance between rich malt depth and vibrant American hop character. Deep mahogany hues set the stage for a complex aromatic profile where the luscious sweetness of Caramel malts and the roasted refinement of Chocolate malts converge. A distinct citrus brightness cuts through the malt-forward foundation, providing a refreshing counterpoint typical of the American Brown Ale style. On the palate, the medium body carries flavors of toasted nuts and cocoa, balanced by a firm yet integrated bitterness. Appearance. Deep brown to dark mahogany in color (20–30 SRM). Displays excellent clarity and is topped by a moderate, off-white to light tan head with good retention.
Aroma. Moderate to high malt intensity featuring rich caramel, distinct chocolate, and toasted nutty notes. A low to moderate citrusy hop aroma provides a bright contrast. Fermentation is clean with very low fruity esters.
Taste. The initial impression is malt-forward with prominent chocolate and caramel flavors. Medium to medium-high bitterness provides a firm balance to the malty-rich sweetness. Hop flavor is moderate and citrusy, complementing the toasted grain character without overpowering it. Finishes medium-dry with a lingering aftertaste of cocoa and citrus peel.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with moderate to moderately-high carbonation. Displays a smooth texture with very light alcohol warmth and no significant roasted astringency.
