Revision Brewing Company RBL is a refined interpretation of the American Lager, bridging the gap between mass-market easy-drinkers and craft precision. Utilizing high-quality German malts and traditional German hops, it presents a crispy and refreshing profile that prioritizes drinkability. The sensory experience is defined by a clean, neutral fermentation that allows subtle grainy sweetness to mingle with a delicate floral hop touch. Its high carbonation and dry finish make it exceptionally thirst-quenching, honoring tradition through patience and technical execution while maintaining a remarkably clean and approachable character throughout the glass.
Appearance.Brilliant clarity with a pale straw to light yellow color (SRM 2-3). It is topped by a bright white, frothy head that dissipates relatively quickly with minimal lacing.
Aroma.Low intensity aroma featuring clean, grainy malt notes and a subtle hint of sweet corn. A very light floral and spicy hop character is present, derived from the German hops. The fermentation profile is extremely clean with no detectable esters or diacetyl.
Taste. The initial palate is relatively neutral with a faint grainy-sweet malt presence. Very low hop flavor is evident, exhibiting light herbal and spicy notes. Bitterness is low but sufficient to balance the malt, leading to a crisp, dry, and short finish that is highly refreshing and clean.
Mouthfeel.Light body with a very high level of carbonation, providing a sharp and refreshing carbonic bite on the tongue. It feels smooth and clean without any astringency or noticeable alcohol warmth.
