Outbreak is a modern, intensely aromatic Double IPA that showcases a sophisticated hop profile through a collaboration of craft expertise. The combination of Nectaron and Galaxy delivers a concentrated burst of passionfruit, ripe peach, and pineapple, while Citra and Cryo Citra provide a vibrant citrus backbone of lime zest and pink grapefruit. The addition of Idaho 7 Hyperboost amplifies the aromatic intensity with deep resinous notes and tropical complexity. Despite its strength, the beer remains exceptionally smooth with a soft texture. A light, neutral malt presence supports the massive hop charge without adding cloying sweetness, resulting in a fruit-forward ale with a crisp, lingering finish.

Appearance. Pale gold to light orange (6–8 SRM). Featuring a thick, persistent white head with dense lacing and an opaque, hazy appearance characteristic of modern interpretations.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical passionfruit, mango, and stone fruit. Significant citrus notes of grapefruit and tangerine are present, supported by a faint resinous dankness. Malt is low and neutral, providing a light grainy background.

Taste. Initial impression is a massive wave of tropical fruit and citrus zest. Flavors of peach, pineapple, and grapefruit juice lead the palate. Bitterness is moderately high but remains smooth and well-integrated, lacking any harshness. The malt character is low and soft, allowing the hops to shine. Finishes medium-dry with a lingering fruity aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, almost creamy texture. Carbonation is moderate. A gentle, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present but remains soft on the palate without any astringency.
