Reset Brewery’s Snowblind presents as a vibrant, session-strength American IPA that punches well above its weight. Utilizing CRYO Centennial and CRYO Sabro hops, it delivers a punchy tropical profile defined by bright notes of grapefruit, zesty lemon, and sweet tangerine, punctuated by a distinctive hint of wild strawberry. The sensory journey is light and incredibly refreshing, reminiscent of a tropical escape despite its low-alcohol backbone. Clean, grainy malts provide a subtle foundation, allowing the sophisticated hop oils to remain the star. It balances a crisp, dry finish with high drinkability, making for a sophisticated and remarkably aromatic experience.
Appearance. Pale gold (approx. 6 SRM) and crystal clear. It supports a medium-sized, persistent white head that leaves delicate lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High hop intensity featuring prominent citrus notes of grapefruit and lemon peel alongside sweet tangerine. A unique berry-like strawberry character is evident. Low grainy-sweet malt aroma; fermentation is clean with no significant esters outside of hop-derived fruitiness.
Taste. Immediate hop-forward impression of tropical fruit and citrus. Flavors of tangerine and lemon zest dominate the mid-palate, followed by a light strawberry finish. Malt flavor is low and bready, supporting a medium-high hop bitterness. The finish is very dry and crisp with a lingering citrus aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Light body with a smooth texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a lively prickle on the tongue. No alcohol warmth is perceived, and there is no detectable astringency.
