This Smokeless Chipotle Smoked Porter presents a sophisticated evolution of the classic English Porter. A robust malt backbone delivers layered notes of toasted biscuit and rich milk chocolate, seamlessly integrated with the earthy, wood-fired smoke of chipotle peppers. Despite the infusion of chili, the experience remains velvet smooth, offering an approachable profile where the heat is a subtle, warming whisper rather than an aggressive burn. Expect a complex interplay of caramel sweetness and a gentle peppery spice that lingers into a clean, balanced finish. It captures the essence of a winter warmer while maintaining the drinkability and refined character of a traditional dark ale.

Appearance. Deep dark brown color with attractive ruby highlights when held to the light. Features good clarity and a moderate, creamy light tan head with fair retention and slight lacing.

Aroma. Moderate bready and toasty malt aroma with distinctive milk chocolate notes. The chipotle infusion adds a prominent but well-integrated layer of earthy smoke and dried pepper skin. Subtle floral hop notes and light fruity esters provide additional complexity.

Taste. Initial impression of bready and biscuity malts followed by moderate chocolate roastiness and hints of caramel. The chipotle peppers contribute a savory smokiness and a very subtle, late-emerging heat.
