This American Pale Ale bridges the gap between classic sessionability and the lean, crisp architecture of a Cold IPA. An ultra-pale grist provides a neutral, cracker-like canvas for a vibrant collision of Mosaic and Citra hops. The aromatic profile bursts with fresh mango, grapefruit zest, and a hint of blueberry, underpinned by a remarkably clean fermentation from the pale ale yeast. On the palate, the hop-forward character remains bright and focused, delivering a punch of tropical fruit and resinous pine without heavy malt interference. It finishes exceptionally dry and refreshing, making it a quintessential super-fresh ale designed for high drinkability and high sensory impact.
Appearance. Very pale straw to light gold (SRM 3-4). Brilliant clarity with a moderately large, bright white head that shows good retention and leaves delicate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by Mosaic and Citra, featuring notes of mango, passion fruit, grapefruit, and subtle blueberry. Low neutral, grainy maltiness supports the hops. Fermentation is very clean with no significant esters.
Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward with flavors of tropical fruit and citrus zest. Low to moderate grainy malt flavor provides a lean base. Bitterness is moderate but firm, balancing a very dry finish. The aftertaste is clean, featuring lingering notes of citrus rind and pine without any harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a crisp, refreshing texture. Carbonation is moderate-high. No alcohol warmth or astringency is present, resulting in a smooth, highly drinkable finish.
