Harmony is a sophisticated English IPA that bridges heritage brewing with modern hop character. The foundation of heirloom Chevallier malt provides a sturdy, deeply bready, and slightly toasted base, which anchors the aromatic profile. Vibrant Centennial hops drive the sensory experience, offering distinct layers of bittersweet orange marmalade, pithy grapefruit citrus, and a subtle touch of floral pine. This transatlantic collaboration results in a beautifully balanced ale where the classic British malt backbone meets a more assertive, resinous hop finish. It is a nuanced, well-attenuated pint that emphasizes drinkability through its clean fermentation and refined bitterness.
Appearance. Deep golden to amber (8–12 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a moderate, persistent, off-white head that leaves consistent lacing on the glass.
Aroma. Moderately high hop aroma featuring orange citrus, marmalade, and a hint of floral pine from the Centennial hops. The malt character is prominent and complex, exhibiting toasted biscuit and rich bready notes from the Chevallier malt. Low fruity esters are present, typical of a clean British ale fermentation.
Taste. Initial impression is a balance of bready malt and pithy citrus. The Chevallier malt provides a firm biscuit and light toffee base, while the Centennial hops contribute flavors of orange peel and a gentle resinous quality. Bitterness is assertive but smooth, balancing the malt profile. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering, clean hop bitterness.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly creamy texture. Carbonation is moderate to medium-high, providing a crispness that enhances the dry finish. Alcohol warmth is very low and well-integrated.
