Aroma. High intensity hop aroma characterized by citrus, floral, and piney notes. Specific hop contributions include grapefruit from Centennial, orange and tropical fruit from Amarillo, and a resinous, earthy pine from Simcoe. The malt profile provides a moderate supportive base of toasted biscuit and low caramel sweetness from the Maris Otter and Carastan malt. Fermentation is clean with very low fruity esters.

Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward with an assertive bitterness driven by German Magnum. Flavors of citrus peel, pine needles, and stone fruit dominate. The malt complexity of UK Maris Otter offers a grainy, bready sweetness, while Carastan adds a touch of toffee-like character. The balance is decidedly bitter, finishing dry and clean with a long, hoppy aftertaste that lacks harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly oily texture from the heavy hopping. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a crisp, refreshing bite. A very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present, consistent with its strength. No astringency.
