Red Ears Brewing’s Smooth Going is a refined expression of the American IPA, emphasizing accessibility and balance. The sensory profile opens with high-intensity aromas of bright citrus and subtle resinous pine, supported by a clean, low-grainy malt foundation. On the palate, a firm but polished bitterness provides structure without becoming harsh, allowing flavors of grapefruit zest and tropical fruit to linger over a light bready malt backbone. With its medium body and crisp, dry finish, this beer delivers the classic hop-forward impact of the style while maintaining a high degree of drinkability, staying true to its name as a balanced and effortless pour.
