Echo is a bright and assertive West Coast Rye IPA that masterfully bridges spicy grain complexity with modern hop aromatics. The signature peppery, grainy bite of rye provides a structured backbone for the distinctive dry-hop profile of Nelson Sauvin and Strata. Expect a vibrant sensory experience where Nelson Sauvin delivers nuanced notes of crushed white grapes and gooseberry, while Strata adds layers of tropical passion fruit and a hint of dank resin. The finish is classically West Coast—crisp, dry, and lingering with a firm, clean bitterness that highlights the interplay between spicy malt and pungent fruit.
Appearance. Deep golden to light amber (SRM 6–10); brilliant clarity with a persistent, frothy white head leaving decorative lacing.
Aroma. High intensity aromatics featuring white wine grapes, passion fruit, and strawberry. A distinct spicy, peppery rye character complements the hops, backed by a low bready malt note and clean fermentation.
Taste. Initial impression is dry and hop-forward. Flavors of gooseberry, citrus, and tropical fruit from the Nelson Sauvin and Strata hops dominate the palate. The mid-palate reveals a spicy, grainy rye flavor that adds complexity. Bitterness is firm and assertive but not harsh. The finish is very dry and crisp with a lingering spicy-fruity aftertaste.

Echo is a West Coast Rye IPA coming at 6.1% ABV. Tasting Notes: Echo is a copper-straw-colored West Coast Rye IPA-style craft beer, dry-hopped with Nelson Sauvin & Strata hops. With the first sip, we notice that it's very well balanced. Its 40 IBUs of bitterness are well integrated with the malts and hops. The addition of rye to our West Coast Rye enhances the cereal flavor and aromas, while also providing a very subtle spicy note. The Nelson Sauvin & Strata hops used for dry hopping add sweet fruit, currant, and, to a lesser extent, white wine notes to the beer.
