Ratpenat Imperial Stout is a massive expression of the Imperial Stout style, delivering an intense sensory experience driven by its 11.3% ABV and high-quality Cafés El Magnífico coffee. This Coffee Guatemala inspired brew presents a thick, velvety profile where deep roasted malts merge with powerful torrefacto notes. Expect a sensory journey through layers of bittersweet chocolate and freshly roasted espresso, balanced by a firm hop presence. The substantial body supports a complex array of dark fruit esters and a lingering, smooth alcohol warmth. Appearance. Jet black (SRM 40) and opaque. Features a dense, persistent dark brown head with excellent retention and significant lacing. High viscosity is visible through legs on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity with a dominant blend of fresh espresso and bittersweet chocolate. The Cafés El Magnífico coffee provides a potent roasted character with hints of red berries and toasted nuts. Subtle dark fruit esters of raisin and plum are present, alongside a clean but noticeable alcohol warmth.

Taste. Massive initial impression of roasted grain, cocoa, and intense coffee. The flavor profile is complex and bittersweet, featuring notes of burnt toast and dark caramel supported by a firm, high bitterness. Como dicen, una Imperial Stout de verdad, una cerveza con mucho cuerpo, con un fuerte caracter y una elevada graduación, asi a simple vista. Cuando la pruebas te das cuenta que no es solo una buena Imperial, sino que juega en otra categoría, en esa superior, siendo una cerveza no apta para principiantes, ya que muy probablemente la dejaran a la mitad con la “excusa” de “esto es muy fuerte” cosa que es lo que pretenden estos máquinas, hacer una Imperial Stout que de que hablar! Si tenéis lo que hay que tener, probarla, enamoraos como yo de su intenso gusto, de sus matices maltosos y cafetados y de su fuerte trago!
