Range Brewing What's That In Fahrenheit?

This collaborative Double IPA delivers an intense sensory experience, defined by a massive dry-hop addition of Citra, Nectaron, and Riwaka. A deep yellow haze presents a striking appearance, while the aroma is a concentrated explosion of tropical fruit. On the palate, a silky, seductive body carries succulent layers of passionfruit, stone fruit peach, and a distinct orange cream character. Despite its 8% ABV, the alcohol is smoothly integrated, allowing the vibrant hop notes to shine through a soft, creamy texture. The finish is remarkably balanced, offering a lingering, punchy tropical fruit aftertaste without harshness, exemplifying modern hop-forward craftsmanship.
Appearance. Deep yellow (approx. 4–6 SRM) with a heavy, opaque haze. Features a thick, creamy, white head with excellent retention and significant lacing.
Aroma. Intense and multifaceted tropical hop profile. Dominated by pungent passionfruit, zesty grapefruit from the Citra, and ripe stone fruit like peach from the Nectaron. Riwaka adds a distinct diesel-citrus and passionfruit edge. Malt is low and neutral, providing a soft, doughy background.
Taste. Bold tropical flavors lead with succulent passionfruit and fuzzy peach, followed by a smooth orange cream sweetness. Hop bitterness is firm but well-integrated, avoiding any grassy or harsh notes. The malt character is clean and supportive, reminiscent of light crackers. It finishes medium-dry with a long, fruity, resinous aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full, silky, and creamy body. Carbonation is moderate. Displays a smooth, well-integrated alcohol warmth that reflects its 8% strength without being hot. Zero astringency.

What's That In Fahrenheit? is the Australian brewed version of our collab with our Californian Pally's from Green Cheek in Costa Mesa, Orange County. While in the USA for hop selection this year we stopped off in Cali and cooked up a super juicy DDH DIPA with Green Cheek. We thought it was only fair to release it back home too. What's That In Fahrenheit? is loaded to the BRIM with Citra, Nectaron and Riwaka. This one is a passionfruit bomb and the Riwaka from our mate Kem at Eggers Hops is SINGING. The ride starts with incredible aromas jumping out of the can, while a deep yellow haze meets the eye. A super seductive body silkily glides over the palate bringing succulent passionfruit, peach and orange cream. The hop notes are intense but incredibly well balanced with the body and the ABV of the beer. This is one hell of a DDH DIPA and it makes us feel a bit cheeky.
