Sweater Weather is an indulgent American Amber Ale that drinks with the intensity of a Double Red IPA. Pouring a crystal clear ruby red, it offers a sensory "warm hug" centered on rich caramel malts and toffee sweetness. The malt backbone is further complexified by notes of rye toast. A powerful hop blend of Chinook, Mosaic, Nelson Sauvin, Citra, and Motueka provides a layered canopy of burnt orange citrus, orange marmalade, and distinct resinous pine. At 8.6% ABV, this beer is smooth and full-bodied, delivering a saturating hop experience balanced by a wholesome, lingering malt finish.
Appearance. Deep ruby red with brilliant clarity; moderately large, creamy off-white head with excellent retention and lacing (SRM 15-17).
Aroma. High intensity; dominant notes of rich caramel and toffee malt with a spicy rye toast undertone. Hop character is prominent, featuring resinous pine, citrus peel, and light tropical notes of gooseberry and melon. Moderate fruity esters of orange and stone fruit.
Taste. Initial impression is a bold malty sweetness of toffee and caramel. Hop flavors follow with burnt orange citrus and resinous pine. The bitterness is firm and moderately high, balancing the dense malt profile. Complex notes of toasted rye emerge in the mid-palate, leading to a long, lingering finish of hop oils and sweet malt.
Mouthfeel. Full-bodied and smooth with a creamy, saturating texture. Moderate carbonation. A noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth is present, consistent with its high strength. No astringency.

Man, the first thing we have to say is that this beer is like getting a big warm hug. It is so incredibly rich and wholesome. It pours a crystal clear ruby red colour with a glorious off-white foam. This autumn dream boat give us smooth and full bodied notes of rich caramel malts, rye toast, and a toffee sweetness. Then the hops kick in bringing a balanced bitterness and hits of burnt orange citrus, orange marmalade and light hints of pine and resin. It's saturating in the best possible way, but dangerously drinkable. The perfect beer for Sweater Weather season.
