American IPA 6 º
Strike Three is a modern American IPA that masterfully balances a classic West Coast structure with a pungent, contemporary hop profile. A sophisticated blend featuring Riwaka Hop Kief and Nelson Sauvin drives an intense sensory experience, delivering "stanky" passionfruit and resinous, dank notes. Mosaic and Nectaron round out the profile with layers of drippy orange and fresh mango. The beer presents a deep yellow clarity with a lean, grainy malt backbone that allows the hop intensity to remain the focus. The experience concludes with a firm, drying bitterness and a clean, lingering finish that highlights its tropical and sticky-sweet hop character.
Appearance. Deep yellow (approximately 4-6 SRM). Brilliant clarity. Medium-sized, white head with good persistence and fine lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma with prominent resinous and dank qualities. Strong notes of passionfruit, white grape, and ripe mango are complemented by citrusy orange peel. Low, clean, grainy maltiness provides a neutral base. Fermentation profile is clean with no significant esters.
Taste. High hop flavor echoing the aroma with intense tropical fruit and resinous pine. Low to medium-low grainy malt flavor. Medium-high bitterness provides a sharp, hop-forward balance. The finish is dry to medium-dry with a lingering, hoppy aftertaste of citrus and tropical fruit.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Medium-high carbonation. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth. No perceived astringency.

Strike Three is a brand new West Coast-style IPA that we've ramped up with a beauty of a hop combo that features Riwaka Hop Kief, Nectaron, Nelson Sauvin and Mosaic. Leaning slightly towards the more dank style, but with a modern juiciness coming through we are loving this Westy. Bright and clear on the pour with a deep yellow clarity shimmering through. On the nose it is sticky, dank and gooey and we love every bit of that. Knock back a sip and your entire palate will be drowned in tropical dankness that these hops are bringing in all their glory. We're getting gooey hits of stanky passionfruit, drippy orange and super fresh mango dankess. The bitterness flows right the way through the palate, never overpowering, but always there to say hello.
