This Double IPA is a high-intensity sensory experience, defined by a complex layering of Citra, Nelson Sauvin, and Riwaka hops. A massive tropical profile dominates the senses, delivering succulent notes of passionfruit and lychee alongside guava and juicy orange. The addition of Krush hops contributes to the pungent, fresh aromatic depth. Despite its strength at 8.5% ABV, the beer presents a luxurious, silky mouthfeel characteristic of an oat cream formulation. This provides a soft, creamy platform that allows the vibrant hop oils to glide across the palate, finishing with a well-integrated, smooth bitterness and a lingering fruity aftertaste.

Appearance. Hazy, pale gold to light orange (6-8 SRM). Features a dense, persistent white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. Intense and pungent hop aroma. Dominant tropical fruit notes of passionfruit, lychee, and guava are complemented by bright orange citrus. A supportive, soft, grainy malt presence sits in the background. Fermentation is clean with very light esters. Alcohol is present but well-integrated, lacking any solventy character.

Taste. Initial burst of saturated tropical fruit—passionfruit and guava—followed by juicy citrus. Complex hop flavors of lychee and stone fruit are supported by a soft, creamy malt backbone. Bitterness is moderately high and firm but devoid of harshness or astringency. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering, succulent hop aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a silky, luxurious texture. Carbonation is moderate. Smooth alcohol warmth is noticeable but refined. No hop-derived astringency.

For the next stop on our virtual tour, we're heading to Manchester to visit our long-time long distance relationship pals at Track. Don't quote us but Track are our most collabed with international brewery to date and we simply love working with them. These folks have been doing it for a hot minute and last year they celebrated their 10th Anniversary with an IMMENSE collab series that we were so stoked to have been apart of. So immense was the beer we worked with them on that we couldn't let the opportunity pass by to share our own version. Enter - Solara. An Oat Cream Double IPA (Gold Top for our Track fans) that has simply been drowned in hops. We've hit this with Krush, Citra Incognito, Citra T90, Citra Cryo, Citra HyperBoost, Nelson Sauvin T90, Nelson Sauvin Amplifire, Nelson Sauvin Cryo, Nelson Sauvin Quantum Brite, and Riwaka. Wow. What a hop bill, and what a beer. It pours every bit as haaaazy, thicc and creamy as you'd expect. A big foamy head atop a glowing yellow haze. First up the aromas are pungent and So fresh. Citra and Nelson in all their glory, with a surprisingly pronounced Riwaka hit coming through. Take a sip and prepare for your senses to be overloaded. The hop expression on this beer is otherworldly. Succulent and ripe notes of passionfruit, lychee, guava and juicy orange all come rocketing through. The body and mouthfeel are silky and luxurious making the hop notes glide through with even more punch. Every sip is a tropical explosion that brings more and more depth with every sip. The finish is smooth yet extremely saturating and will leave you craving the next sip to search for even more depth in an endless tropical bouquet.
