This West Coast style American IPA delivers a quintessential hop-forward experience with modern, high-definition clarity. Utilizing a robust hop bill of Simcoe Cryo, Rakau, Chinook, and Citra, it leads with high-intensity aromatics of resinous pine and bright citrus zest, underpinned by a whisper of tropical stone fruit. The palate is defined by a clean, grainy malt base that allows the assertive bitterness to shine, finishing crisp and dry. While the Simcoe Cryo and Chinook provide deep forest notes, the Citra and Rakau offer layers of grapefruit and subtle peach, resulting in a vibrant, refreshing profile that balances old-school soul with contemporary execution.
Appearance. Medium gold (6-7 SRM); brilliant clarity; large, persistent white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity; prominent resinous pine, grapefruit zest, and floral lime; secondary notes of underripe mango and stone fruit; very low, clean bready malt; no fermentation esters.
Taste. High hop flavor mirroring the aroma with citrus rind and pine needles; medium-high assertive bitterness; low, neutral grainy malt sweetness; dry, clean finish with a lingering hoppy and bitter aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body; medium-high carbonation; smooth texture with a light, well-integrated alcohol warmth; no astringency.
