Range Brewing’s Razzle Dazzle is a luxurious Hazy IPA that exemplifies the ‘Oat Cream’ sub-style with its dense, opaque pour and velvety texture. The aromatic profile is led by a complex hop blend of Sabro LUPOMAX, Citra, Rakau, and Motueka, delivering a striking bouquet of toasted coconut, bright citrus, and a specific kiwi-like dankness. On the palate, it unfolds like a tropical fruit salad, layering mango and pineapple flavors against a pillowy malt base. The addition of oats and potentially lactose creates a unique sherbety mouthfeel, leading to a soft, smooth finish with very low perceived bitterness and a lingering juicy impression.
Appearance.Deep straw to light gold (4–6 SRM). Opaque, dense haze with a brilliant white, meringue-like head that demonstrates excellent retention and thick lacing.
Aroma.High intensity hop-forward aroma featuring prominent notes of coconut, lime, and tropical stone fruit. Background notes of grainy, bready malt and a hint of sweet cream are present, with clean fermentation and no detectable alcohol.
Taste.Initial impression is ultra-juicy and fruit-forward. Flavors of citrus and tropical fruits predominate, supported by a soft, bready malt character. Perceived bitterness is low (roughly 25–30 IBU), serving only to balance the off-dry, creamy finish. The aftertaste is clean and highlights lingering notes of coconut and ripe melon.
Mouthfeel.Medium-full, creamy body with a soft, velvety texture. Carbonation is moderate, contributing to a sherbet-like sensation on the tongue. Alcohol warmth is negligible, and there is no hop harshness or astringency.
