This Double IPA, a collaboration with Yakima Chief Hops, radiates a vibrant mango glow and luscious haze. The aroma is high-intensity, bursting with overripe mango, white peach, and punchy pineapple. On the palate, it delivers a kaleidoscopic fusion of sticky mango nectar, zesty orange, and pulpy passionfruit, subtly accented by tropical coconut. While leaning into the richness of a Triple IPA, it maintains the core profile of a contemporary Double IPA with a firm bitterness and a complex, fruit-saturated character. The mouthfeel is notably drippy and sumptuous, expertly masking its significant strength with impressive drinkability and a lingering, fruit-driven finish.
Appearance. Color is a vibrant mango-orange (SRM 7-9); opaque, luscious haze; thick, persistent off-white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. Intense tropical hop aroma featuring prominent overripe mango, white peach, and pineapple; secondary notes of orange zest and a hint of coconut; low, neutral grainy malt in the background; clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial burst of tropical fruit; flavors of sticky mango nectar, zesty orange, and pulpy passionfruit; moderate-high bitterness that provides structure without harshness; low supportive malt; dry to medium-dry finish with lingering tropical fruit saturation.
Mouthfeel. Full-bodied with a creamy, drippy texture; moderate carbonation; significant but smooth alcohol warmth; no astringency; high drinkability for its strength.

“Lights & Music is about as smooth and tropical as anything we’ve ever made. It pours a light shade of golden straw, with a deep and glowing haze. Straight up on the nose, this beer punches out aromas of lime, peach and grapefruit, which can be smelt from a mile away. The mouthfeel is thick, slick and velvety all the way from the front to the back of the palate, with a dense and creamy feel. Motueka and Citra take centre stage bringing wave after wave of soft and luscious overripe mango, melon, lime, passionfruit and peach. The finish is smooth and has a tropical intensity that hangs around long after each sip. This beer is incredibly easy to drink and we are over the moon about how it turned out.”
