This Australian-inspired American Lager offers a refined take on classic backyard refreshment, blending high-quality craft execution with approachable sessionability. The sensory profile is defined by a clean fermentation that allows a distinctive malt backbone of biscuity and bready notes to shine without veering into sweetness. A playful and lasting bitterness provides a crisp, structural counterpoint to the grain-forward palate, distinguishing it from more neutral macro examples. Brilliantly clear and highly attenuated, it delivers a refreshing, dry finish. Appearance. Brilliant clarity with a pale straw to medium yellow color (approximately 3 SRM). It pours with a bright white, frothy head that shows moderate persistence and light lacing.
Aroma. Low intensity with a clean, grainy malt character. Subtle notes of fresh bread and a hint of sweet grain are present. Hop aroma is very low to absent, offering just a whisper of herbal spice. Fermentation is exceptionally clean with no yeast-derived esters or phenols.
Taste. The palate leads with bready and biscuity malt flavors that remain lean and dry. A moderate-low bitterness arrives early and lingers cleanly into the finish, providing more character than a typical light lager. The finish is crisp and well-attenuated, featuring a neutral aftertaste with a light grainy sweetness and balanced hop bitterness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with high carbonation that produces a lively, scrubbing carbonic bite on the tongue. It is smooth and extremely easy-drinking, with a clean, refreshing mouthfeel and no perceptible alcohol warmth.
