NEIPA - New England IPA 6.5 º
This Hazy IPA is a saturated tropical masterclass, leveraging a complex hop bill of Citra, Galaxy, and Mosaic to deliver an intense sensory experience. The double dry-hopped profile bursts with aromatic layers of fresh passionfruit, floral lychee, and lush, overripe mango. Brewed as an Oat Cream IPA, it possesses an exceptionally smooth, velvety texture that carries the massive hop load with grace. The interplay between Citra LUPOMAX and Mosaic Cryo provides a deep, concentrated fruit character without harshness. It finishes with a soft, rounded bitterness and a lingering juicy essence that highlights its collaborative, modern craftsmanship.
Appearance. Deep straw to light gold (4-6 SRM). Displays a characteristic opaque, luminous haze with a brilliant shine. Topped by a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity aromatics lead with a massive tropical punch. Significant notes of overripe mango and passionfruit from the Galaxy and Citra hops dominate, supported by a subtle floral lychee note. Background malt is neutral and doughy, while the Mosaic Cryo adds a slight berry-like depth. No caramel or toast is present.
Taste. Initial impression is a wave of juicy tropical fruit. Mid-palate reveals layers of mango, grapefruit, and citrus peel from the Citra and Citra LUPOMAX. The malt flavor is low, presenting as lightly bready. Bitterness is low to moderate but very smooth, never sharp. The finish is off-dry and extremely juicy, with a clean fermentation profile that allows the hop fruitiness to linger.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a notable creamy, pillowy texture. Carbonation is moderate. Alcohol warmth is light and well-integrated. Smoothness is the defining characteristic, with no astringency or hop burn.

For this juicy banger we gave the DDH treatment to an Oat Cream IPA and the result is one of the smoothest and juiciest IPAs in our repertoire. It pours a stunning bright orange that glows in the sunshine, with a white and fluffy foam. We went hard on the hops with Citra Incognito and Galaxy in the whirlpool and a hefty dry-hop of Citra, Citra LUPOMAX and Mosaic Cryo. Bursting with fresh passionfruit, lychee and overripe mango. The mouthfeel is every bit smooth and creamy as you'd expect, with a finishing sweet juiciness.
