Brewed with Coffee Supreme whole beans steeped post-fermentation, the profile leads with the clean, aromatic punch of black filter coffee. This is supported by a base of dark chocolate malt, evoking the nostalgic, airy sweetness of Maltesers. Despite its approachable 4.2% ABV, the beer maintains a sophisticated roasted depth. This Spice, Herb, or Vegetable Beer balances medium-roasted bitterness with a smooth, drying finish, creating an inviting sensory experience perfect for easing off a long shift.
Appearance. Pours a deep, opaque black (40+ SRM) with a rich, persistent golden-tan foam head that leaves intricate lacing. Clarity is opaque, typical for the style and malt bill.
Aroma. High intensity of freshly ground coffee and cold-brewed black coffee. Subtle background notes of toasted bread and unsweetened cocoa from the malt. Fermentation is clean with negligible esters, allowing the coffee beans to dominate without being acrid or burnt.
