Appearance. SRM 18-22. Deep cola brown with reddish highlights. Clear, with a moderate, light tan, fluffy head and good retention.
Aroma. Moderate intensity. Rich malt character featuring sweet toffee, nutty biscuit, and light chocolate. Subtle hints of roasted barley and coffee. Very low floral hop aroma and faint fruity esters.
Taste. Initial impression of gentle malt sweetness. Flavors of caramel and toasted biscuit dominate the mid-palate, complemented by light nutty and chocolate notes.
