This English IPA offers a modern, high-intensity take on the style, featuring a heavy 20g/L dry-hop regimen. It balances a bready malt base with an explosive sensory profile of papaya nectar and deep, pulpy passionfruit. The palate is defined by a silky, medium-full body that delivers lush notes of sticky mango, pineapple, and lychee, supported by delicate berry undertones. While the hop character is intensely tropical and citrus-forward, an assertive bitterness ensures a clean, well-attenuated finish. This ale provides a powerful hop experience while maintaining the characteristic drinkability and structural integrity of a strong British pale ale.
Appearance. Deep straw to gold (5-6 SRM). Distinctive milky haze resulting from the heavy dry-hop load. Moderate, persistent off-white head with substantial lacing.
Aroma. Moderate-high intensity. Dominant hop-derived notes of passionfruit, mango, and pineapple. Supporting medium-low bready and biscuity malt character. Low fruity esters and a clean, light alcohol presence.
Taste. Initial burst of tropical fruit including papaya, lychee, and berry. Malt flavor is medium-low with bready and light biscuit notes. Hop bitterness is assertive and firm, balancing the perceived fruit sweetness. Finish is medium-dry with a lingering, clean bitterness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a notable silkiness and creamy texture. Moderate carbonation. Smooth, light alcohol warmth consistent with the 7.2% ABV. Low astringency despite the high hop concentration.

You can try each of them one after the other, at different times, or pour each one out at the same time and compare and contrast. Grab a bud and share them around, it's a great way to chat hops and compare what flavours each of you find in each beer. Each beer follows a simple yet effective malt bill of extra pale malt, oats and wheat and is fermented with our house hazy yeast strain. We've dry-hopped them with a naughty little combo of our favourite US and Kiwi hops including Citra, Centennial, Nelson Sauvin and Rakau.
