NEIPA - New England IPA 6.2 º
Duality is a vibrant Hazy IPA that showcases the expressive potential of Motueka hops. This beer radiates with an intense hop-forward profile, leading with distinct sensory cues of lime milkshake and effervescent bubblegum sherbet. A delicate layer of light orange citrus emerges on the back end, supported by a neutral, grainy malt presence. At 6.2% ABV, the experience is defined by a lush, smooth mouthfeel and a refreshing, slightly dry finish. The heavy reliance on Motueka provides a singular focus on bright, zesty fruit character while maintaining the soft, approachable bitterness expected of the style.
Appearance. Straw to light orange (4-6 SRM). Opaque haze with a luminous shine. Persistent, meringue-like white head with excellent lacing and high retention.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring zesty lime, sweet citrus, and a hint of tropical fruitiness. Low, clean, bready malt in the background. No caramel or toast notes present.
Taste. Dominant lime and citrus hop flavors with a playful bubblegum-like sweetness. Low to medium-high perceived bitterness that is well-integrated and never harsh. Low grainy malt flavor provides a neutral base. Finishes smooth and off-dry with a lingering lime zest aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, lush texture. Medium carbonation. Smooth without any astringency or hop burn. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
