This Italian Pilsner presents a modern, aromatic evolution of the classic German Pils. A vibrant dry-hop addition of Motueka and Lemondrop elevates the sensory experience, imparting delicate layers of light melon and bright citrus atop a clean, cracker-like malt base. The profile leans into refreshing notes of orange peel and zesty lemongrass, providing a contemporary twist on the traditional floral and spicy hop character. Its finish is remarkably dry and crisp, defined by a snappy bitterness that invites another sip. Expertly balanced and highly drinkable, it marries old-world lager precision with a playful, citrus-forward hop intensity.
Appearance. Golden yellow (3-4 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Features a fluffy, white, ice cream-like head with excellent retention and delicate lacing.
Aroma. Moderate-high intensity. A clean, grainy-sweet and doughy malt backbone supports modern hop aromas of light melon and bright citrus. Subtle notes of lemongrass and white flowers are present with a completely clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial malt sweetness is quickly overtaken by a vibrant hop-forward character. Flavors of orange peel and lemongrass predominate, supported by a cracker-like Pilsner malt foundation. Bitterness is medium-high and snappy, leading into a super dry and refreshing finish with a clean, lingering citrus aftertaste.
