Appearance. Pours a hazy, opaque straw to light orange (4-5 SRM) with a brilliant white, meringue-like head that shows high retention and leaves dense lacing.
Aroma. High-intensity aroma featuring a bouquet of tropical fruit, specifically passionfruit and dragonfruit, complemented by bright orange and grapefruit citrus from the Citra and Mosaic hops. Clean, lightly bready malt remains in the background with neutral fermentation esters.
Taste. Dominated by high fruity hop flavors of passionfruit and juicy citrus. The malt flavor is low and grainy, providing a soft foundation for the hops. Bitterness is low to moderate and smooth, never harsh, leading into an off-dry, fruit-forward finish that emphasizes the plush character of the style.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full, smooth, and soft body with a rounded, plush texture. Carbonation is moderate, and there is a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth that enhances the overall mouthfeel without any astringency.
