Catch the Sun is a modern take on the American Pale Ale, showcasing a lean, brilliant profile characteristic of its West Coast inspiration. This expression centers on a vibrant hop trio of Cashmere, Nelson Sauvin, and Krush, which delivers an aromatic bouquet of white grape, zesty lime, and ripe stone fruit. Appearance. Pale golden (5-7 SRM). Large, persistent white head with fine lacing. Brilliant clarity.
Aroma. Moderate-high intensity. Dominant hop character of gooseberry, white wine, and peach with secondary notes of lemon zest and melon. Low grainy-neutral maltiness. Clean fermentation profile with very low esters.
Taste. Initial impression is crisp and hop-forward. Flavors of crushed grape, passion fruit, and stone fruit are supported by a light, crackery malt base. Moderate to high bitterness (40 IBU range). Dry, clean finish with a lingering resinous and fruity hop aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body. High carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel with a refreshing, crisp bite and no alcohol warmth.
