Pilsner 5 º
Catch & Release is a pristine German Pils that captures the essence of a traditional lager with a modern, clean execution. Pouring a brilliant, straw-colored body, it is crowned by a remarkably fluffy white foam. The aroma is led by high-intensity grassy hops, supported by a delicate, doughy Continental Pilsner malt backbone. On the palate, a soft malt body provides a brief moment of sweetness before being swiftly overtaken by a sharp, incredibly crispy bitterness. The finish is dry and refreshing, defined by a lingering hop character and a clean, snappy finish that makes it exceptionally drinkable during warmer months.
Appearance. Straw to deep yellow (SRM 3), brilliant clarity, with a persistent, fluffy white foam head and fine lacing.
Aroma. Moderate intensity featuring grassy and herbal hop notes. A low grainy-sweet malt character emerges with subtle doughy and cracker-like qualities. Extremely clean fermentation profile without esters or diacetyl.
Taste. Initial notes of soft, grainy malt are immediately balanced by a firm, crisp hop bitterness. Flavor follows the aroma with prominent grassy hop notes. The balance is decidedly bitter, leading into a very dry, clean finish with a lingering herbal aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with moderate to high carbonation that enhances the crisp, refreshing character. No significant alcohol warmth; smooth and highly attenuated with a slight minerally snap.
