The aroma is an intense bouquet of freshly roasted coffee beans and rich, buttery toffee, layered over classic base notes of plum and raisin. On the palate, a luxurious malt depth reveals flavors of dark chocolate and molasses, balanced by a smooth, roastiness reminiscent of a Schwarzbier. At ten percent alcohol, it delivers a deceptive, well-integrated warmth that enhances the velvety, full-bodied mouthfeel. A moderate bitterness ensures a clean finish, preventing the decadent sweetness from becoming cloying.
