Raduga Samurai Rebellion is a nuanced take on the American IPA, characterized by a delicate botanical infusion. The aroma is dominated by the floral perfume of jasmine and the subtle, earthy grassiness of Sencha green tea. Magnum hops provide a clean, structural bitterness that balances the soft, grainy sweetness of the barley and wheat malt base. Fermented with US-05 yeast, the profile remains exceptionally clean, allowing the oriental tea characteristics to take center stage. The result is a refreshing, aromatic ale with a dry finish and a lingering, tea-like tannin structure that complements its hop-forward personality.

Appearance. Pours a deep gold to light amber (approx. 7-9 SRM) with a medium-sized, persistent off-white head that leaves fine lacing. Clarity is generally clear, though a very slight haze may be present from the wheat malt and tea infusion.

Aroma. High intensity floral and herbal notes. The dominant scent is fragrant jasmine followed by the slightly grassy, vegetal character of green tea. Low, clean, grainy-sweet maltiness with a touch of bready wheat. Hop aroma is moderate, featuring light spice and resinous notes from the Magnum hops. Clean fermentation profile.

Taste. Initial floral jasmine sweetness gives way to a complex herbal tea flavor. The malt presence is low to medium-low, providing a clean, bready foundation. Bitterness is moderate (35 IBU), delivered cleanly by Magnum hops, and stays well-balanced against the tea tannins. The finish is dry and crisp with a lingering floral and slightly earthy aftertaste. No significant yeast esters.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly soft texture attributed to the wheat malt. Moderate to medium-high carbonation. Alcohol warmth is very light and well-integrated. A very subtle, pleasant tea-derived astringency adds to the dry, refreshing finish.
