On the palate, the fruit takes center stage, supported by a soft, pillowy malt backbone and a firm, yet smooth, bitterness that balances the 8% ABV. The finish is remarkably clean for its strength, lingering with notes of resinous hops and sun-ripened tropical fruit, making it a powerful yet refreshing expression of the style.
Appearance. Deep gold to light orange with a pronounced, opaque haze characteristic of the New England style. Topped by a dense, persistent white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity; dominant notes of fresh pineapple and tropical fruit punch. Supportive aromas of tangerine, mango, and a hint of resinous pine from the hops. The malt is neutral and grainy in the background, with a clean fermentation profile and no solventy alcohol.
