This extreme Imperial Stout delivers an intense sensory experience, defined by its massive 16% alcohol and a complex array of Brazilian ingredients. The "dry-coffeeing" with Mineiro 100% Arabica coffee provides a sharp, slightly acidic roast profile that cuts through the dense sweetness of Rapadura, molasses, and brown sugar. On the palate, luxurious vanilla bean notes and oak chip tannins meld with the aggressive 111 IBU bitterness. It is a viscous, jet-black ale where deep roasted malts harmonize with dark, burnt sugars and a significant, spirit-like warmth, finishing with a lingering, bittersweet complexity that evolves as it warms.

Appearance. Jet black and completely opaque (SRM 40+). It pours with a thick, deep tan to dark brown head that exhibits low to moderate retention due to the high alcohol content. The high viscosity is clearly visible as thick legs on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity with a rich, complex blend of roasted grains, dark chocolate, and freshly roasted Arabica coffee. Deep notes of molasses and Rapadura provide a burnt sugar sweetness, complemented by vanilla and a subtle woody oak character. Esters of dried plums and raisins are present, alongside a notable but smooth alcohol presence.

Taste. An initial explosion of intense roast, bittersweet chocolate, and earthy burnt sugar from the Rapadura and brown sugar. The bitterness is aggressively high, supported by the massive malt backbone and the coffee's light acidity. Mid-palate flavors include vanilla and slight oak tannins. The finish is long and bittersweet, featuring a harmonious interplay of dark fruit, roasted grain, and a smooth, warming alcohol glow.

Mouthfeel. Very full-bodied, viscous, and chewy with a velvety, luscious texture. Carbonation is low to moderate. A strong, noticeable alcohol warmth is present but remains well-integrated rather than harsh. Very low astringency despite the high IBU and coffee content.
