Quantum Satis Coffee Melomel is a decadent and harmonious Polish Experimental Mead that masterfully integrates łutówka cherries and bold buckwheat honey. The sensory profile opens with an intense bouquet of earthy molasses and dark, tart fruit, followed by a sophisticated layer of roasted specialty coffee and creamy vanilla beans. On the palate, the assertive sweetness of the buckwheat honey is elegantly countered by the natural acidity of the cherries, creating a rich, velvet-like texture. A gentle alcohol warmth carries the finish, which lingers with notes of espresso and sweet bean, showcasing why this complex profile earned the Grand Champion title.

Appearance. Deep mahogany to dark ruby with brilliant clarity; typically still with no head or lacing, showing a heavy, viscous leg pattern on the glass due to high honey content and alcohol.

Aroma. High intensity; the pungent, earthy, and musky character of buckwheat honey dominates, interlaced with tart cherry esters, rich roasted specialty coffee, and a distinct, sweet pod-like vanilla fragrance.
