Crazy History presents a vibrant sensory profile centered on a massive dry-hop addition of Cryo Citra, resulting in an explosion of citrus and tropical character. The aroma is dominated by concentrated notes of tangerine, lime zest, and ripe mango, supported by a subtle, bready malt backbone. This Hazy IPA emphasizes a soft, pillowy texture and a smooth mouthfeel that masks a restrained bitterness. On the palate, the hop-forward intensity persists with juicy flavors of passion fruit and grapefruit, finishing clean with an off-dry, fruity persistence that highlights the innovative hop processing used to achieve such high aromatic saturation.
Appearance. Straw to light gold (4 SRM) with a deep, opaque haze and a luminous glow. Features a thick, rocky, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and persistent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring punchy tropical fruit, tangerine, and grapefruit zest from the Cryo Citra. Background malt is clean, low, and grainy-sweet. Esters are moderate and fruity, complementing the hop profile without any clash or buttery notes.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with notes of mango and bright citrus. Malt flavor is low to medium-low, providing a soft bready foundation. Bitterness is moderate but perceived as soft and well-integrated. The finish is off-dry and smooth with a lingering, juicy hop aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a soft, rounded, and smooth texture. Carbonation is moderate. Displays no harshness, astringency, or significant alcohol warmth, maintaining high drinkability.
