Appearance. SRM 6–10; a hazy, luminous orange-coral hue with a moderately thick, off-white to slightly pink-tinted head. Retention is fair, leaving a thin collar and light lacing.
Aroma. High intensity of fresh blood orange zest and pulpy peach. Moderate lactic tartness is present, accompanied by light farmhouse esters and a hint of rustic funk. Grainy, wheat-like malt provides a neutral base, while hop aroma is absent.
Taste. Initial impression is sharply fruity and acidic. Bright blood orange citrus and juicy peach flavors dominate the mid-palate. Very low hop bitterness, though a slight citrus-pith astringency adds structure. Fermentation character is clean but distinctly tart, leading to a bone-dry finish with lingering peach skin and orange oil notes.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with moderate-high carbonation that enhances the refreshing tartness. No noticeable alcohol warmth. A slight fruit-derived tannin presence adds a pleasant, mouth-watering quality without being overly astringent.
