This Vienna Lager presents a robust profile, elevated by a slightly higher alcohol content and the creative inclusion of Aromatic and Crystal malts. The foundation is defined by a clean, bready richness that leans into deeper toasty notes and a subtle, dark-sugar sweetness. Unlike traditional continental examples, a delicate citrusy hop character provides a modern lift to the nose and palate. The result is a smooth, copper-hued lager that balances elegant malt complexity with a firm, drying bitterness, maintaining the drinkability of the style while offering a richer, more fragrant sensory experience.

Appearance. Deep copper to reddish-amber (12–15 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a large, persistent, off-white head that leaves moderate lacing.

Aroma. Moderate to high intensity. Rich, toasty malt aroma dominated by bready accents and a hint of caramel from the Crystal and Aromatic malts. Very low citrus hop notes provide a bright counterpoint. Clean lager fermentation with no esters or diacetyl.

Taste. Initial impression of soft, elegant malt complexity. Toasty and slightly sweet malt flavors are prominent, supported by a firm bitterness that keeps the finish fairly dry. Subtle citrus hop flavor emerges mid-palate. The finish is clean and smooth with a lingering bready malt and herbal bitterness aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a gentle creaminess. Moderate carbonation. A light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present due to the 6.5% ABV, but it remains smooth without astringency.
