This American IPA delivers a vibrant, hop-forward experience driven by a double dry-hopping of El Dorado and Simcoe. The aroma bursts with bright pineapple and sweet tropical fruit notes from the El Dorado, grounded by the classic resinous pine and passion fruit character of Simcoe. On the palate, a clean, grainy malt foundation allows these fruit-forward hop layers to shine before yielding to a firm, crisp bitterness. The finish is refreshingly dry, leaving a lingering trail of citrus peel and forest resin that invites another sip, perfectly capturing the juicy yet structured spirit of the American IPA.
Appearance. Deep gold color with a slight, hop-derived haze. Features a persistent, off-white, medium-sized head with excellent lacing and retention.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of ripe pineapple, melon, and tropical fruit esters. A secondary layer of resinous pine and subtle grapefruit pith provides complexity. Malt presence is low and clean, offering a faint bready sweetness with a neutral fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial hop-forward impression of tropical fruit and passion fruit. The mid-palate reveals a moderate bready malt support without caramel heaviness. Bitterness is firm and assertive but remains smooth and clean. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering aftertaste of citrus oils and pine needles.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly oily texture from hop resins. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a crisp bite. Alcohol warmth is light and well-integrated, with no astringency.
