Appearance. Pale straw to light gold (SRM 2–3) with brilliant, sparkling clarity. Features a lively, effervescent carbonation that produces a thin white rim of bubbles that quickly dissipates without leaving lacing.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity of fresh, ripe apples and delicate floral esters. The wild fermentation lends a very subtle, clean complexity without heavy funk or sulfur. Aromas are pure and fruit-focused, lacking any malt, hop, or phenolic notes.
Taste. The initial impression is one of bright, tart apple juice leading to a medium-dry finish. Malt flavor is absent, and there is no hop bitterness or flavor. Exclusively sourced from the Frome Valley, Pure Cider is a medium, well rounded Herefordshire cider made from 100% Herefordshire apples. Every apple is picked from orchards within a 1.5 Mile radius of the Celtic Marches farm. They’re then pressed on the very same day. Pure Cider is authenticated by a protected geographical indicator (PGI) which certifies it is a genuine Herefordshire product.
