This refreshing Blonde Ale opens with an inviting bouquet of freshly zested organic Valencia oranges, seamlessly integrated with the bready, honeyed profile of organic Copeland Malt. Fermented with Pure Project’s signature Murky yeast, the beer presents a soft, rounded sensory experience that evokes a sun-drenched coastal afternoon. A gentle sweetness from the malt is expertly balanced by a clean, citrus-forward finish that highlights the bright acidity of the oranges. With its approachable character and nuanced malt depth, Tropical Mist offers a sophisticated yet easy-drinking profile that captures a vibrant tropical essence without excessive bitterness or heavy body.
Appearance. Straw to light gold (4 SRM). Displays a slight, characteristic haze from the house yeast strain. Pours with a medium-sized white head that shows moderate retention and fine lacing.
Aroma. Moderate intensity with a dominant aroma of sweet Valencia oranges and tangerine zest. Supported by a clean, grainy, and slightly bready malt character from the Copeland Malt. Very low floral hop notes and light fruity esters from the fermentation process.
Taste. Initial soft maltiness featuring notes of fresh bread and light biscuit. The flavor is quickly brightened by a burst of organic Valencia orange juice and zest. Bitterness is medium-low, providing just enough structure to keep the balance even. Very clean fermentation with a medium-dry, refreshing citrus-inflected aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a soft, smooth texture. Moderate-high carbonation provides a lively, tongue-tingling sensation. Lacks any harshness or astringency, maintaining a crisp and approachable palate.
