Formless Reflections is a quintessential Hazy IPA that showcases a globally-sourced hop trifecta. Hand-selected Nelson hops from New Zealand impart sophisticated notes of white wine and gooseberry, while American Mosaic adds layers of citrus and tropical fruit. Germany’s Huell Melon rounds out the profile with succulent juicy melon and a delicate orange zest. This aromatic powerhouse balances these bright notes against a subtle, resinous dankness. On the palate, the experience is intensely fruit-forward and smooth, supported by a soft, bready malt backbone and a restrained bitterness that emphasizes drinkability and hop depth over sharp edges.
Appearance. Straw to light orange (4-6 SRM). Opaque, murky haze with a luminous shine. Topped by a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and persistent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop-driven bouquet featuring distinct melon, white grape, and sweet orange zest. A complex interplay of tropical stone fruit and a whisper of dank resin follows. The malt is subtle and clean, providing a lightly bready, neutral foundation without any distracting caramel or toast notes. Clean fermentation character.
Taste. Dominated by high-intensity hop flavors of juicy honeydew melon, white wine, and bright citrus. Low to medium perceived bitterness that feels soft and integrated. The malt provides a low-intensity, grainy-sweet support. Finishes with a lingering fruity hop character and a clean, off-dry impression, devoid of any harsh hop burn or astringency.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a remarkably smooth, soft, and plush texture. Medium carbonation provides a gentle lift. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth. No harshness, graininess, or starch-like coating on the tongue.
