Voodoo Child reimagines the classic German Pils through a modern lens, blending traditional crispness with a punchy West Coast hop profile. The sensory experience is dominated by a vibrant dankness and sharp citrus notes, driven by a heavy-handed addition of Strata, Mosaic, Simcoe, and Vista hops. Beneath the tropical and pine-forward aromatics lies a clean, lean foundation of doughy, cracker-like pilsner malt. Its fermentation is impeccably clean, allowing the complex interplay of berry and grapefruit to shine before finishing bone-dry. This lager remains light and refreshing despite its elevated hop intensity and slightly higher strength, offering a brilliant marriage of Old World technique and New World intensity.

Appearance. Deep straw color (3 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a dense, creamy white head that exhibits excellent persistence and leaves intricate lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent dankness, passion fruit, and blueberry from Strata and Mosaic, alongside citrus and pine notes from Simcoe and Vista. Low grainy-sweet malt character with a hint of toasted cracker. Exceptionally clean lager fermentation profile.

Taste. The initial impression is a sharp, clean bitterness that quickly gives way to layers of pink grapefruit, tropical fruit, and resinous pine. The malt provides a light, honeyed cracker backdrop but remains secondary. It finishes crisp and decidedly dry with a long-lingering, clean bitterness and a touch of minerality.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a brisk, high carbonation that enhances the refreshing quality. Shows a light, well-integrated alcohol warmth. Smooth texture with no astringency and a crisp, flinty snap.
