Pure Drinking Beer presents a vibrant sensory journey into New Zealand hop fields. This Hazy IPA features an intense bouquet of pink grapefruit, passion fruit, and red berries, driven by a heavy double dry-hopping of Superdelic and Galaxy. Southern Cross and NZ Cascade contribute layers of lemon zest and subtle pine, cutting through a bready, grain-forward malt base. On the palate, the experience is lush and juicy, balancing tropical sweetness with a soft, rounded bitterness. The finish is clean and refreshing, emphasizing the aromatic depth of the southern hemisphere hops without the resinous harshness of a traditional West Coast style.

Appearance. Pale straw-gold (4 SRM) with a dense, meringue-like white head that shows excellent retention and thick lacing. The beer is opaque with a uniform, luminous haze, free of any visible hop particulates or yeast clumps.

Aroma. High-intensity aroma dominated by tropical and stone fruit notes of passion fruit, peach, and candied red fruit. NZ Cascade and Southern Cross provide a bright citrus peel and light pine needle top note. A clean, bready, and lightly grainy malt presence sits in the background, complemented by subtle fruity fermentation esters.

Taste. An explosion of juicy tropical flavors including guava, mango, and sweet citrus. The Superdelic and Galaxy hops provide a complex berry and passion fruit character, while the NZ Cascade adds a lemon-lime snap. Malt flavors are subtle and bready, providing a soft foundation. Bitterness is moderate but smooth and well-integrated, leading to an off-dry, fruit-forward aftertaste without any hop burn or harshness.
