This classic German Pils presents a bright and refreshing profile, highlighting the benefits of a patient fermentation process. It opens with a sophisticated aroma of flowery and spicy German hops, supported by a low, grainy-sweet malt backbone reminiscent of toasted crackers and light honey. The palate is clean and crisp, where the initial doughy malt sweetness is swiftly overtaken by a firm, lingering bitterness. Its highly attenuated, dry finish is punctuated by flinty, mineral notes, creating a sharp and elegant drinking experience. Brilliant and effervescent, this lager balances traditional hop intensity with a smooth, well-matured character that is both bright and impeccably clean.
Appearance. Straw to deep yellow (2–4 SRM). Brilliant clarity. Large, creamy, long-lasting white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. Moderate to high flowery and spicy hop intensity. Low to medium grainy, sweet, or doughy malt character with a light toasted cracker quality. Very clean fermentation profile with no yeast-derived esters or diacetyl.
Taste. Initial grainy-sweet malt flavor is quickly overcome by prominent spicy hop flavor and a medium-high bitterness. Finishes very dry and crisp with a clean, lingering bitterness and a touch of flinty minerality in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with medium-high carbonation. Crisp and refreshing without being harsh; no perceived alcohol warmth.
