Principle Brewing IPA presents a vibrant sensory profile defined by its quintessential American IPA heritage. The interplay of Cascade, Centennial, and Citra hops delivers a punchy bouquet of grapefruit rind, resinous pine, and bright tropical citrus. At 6.3% ABV, it strikes a deliberate balance between a clean, slightly toasty malt base and a firm, lingering bitterness that cleanses the palate. Appearance. Color is a deep gold to light reddish-amber (8-10 SRM). It displays brilliant clarity and is topped by a medium-sized, off-white head with excellent persistence and lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of citrus zest, floral blossoms, and resinous pine. A low, clean, grainy-sweet malt character provides a subtle background. Fermentation profile is clean with negligible esters and no detectable alcohol harshness.

Taste. Initial impression is decidedly hop-forward with a high, clean bitterness. Hop flavors of grapefruit, lemon, and pine resin dominate. A medium-low toasted and grainy malt backbone provides necessary support without adding significant sweetness. The finish is medium-dry to dry with a lingering, pleasant hoppy aftertaste.
