This Czech Dark Lager showcases a sophisticated malt profile, utilizing a blend of Pilsner and Munich malts to establish a rich, bready foundation. The specific use of Caramel and Roasted malts imparts a deep garnet color and a complex palate of clean caramel, dark coffee, and dried plums. Balanced by the traditional spicy character of Sládek and Žatecký poloraný červeňák hops, the beer maintains a delicate bitterness that offsets its residual sweetness. Taste. Complex malt richness dominates the initial impression, with flavors of toasted nuts, caramel, and a hint of licorice.
