Pressure Drop Brewing

Silent Disco is a vibrant Wild Specialty Beer that pulses with tropical energy. High-intensity aromas of fresh-cut pineapple and zesty ginger dominate the senses, supported by the sharp, clean lactic tang of a wild fermentation. On the palate, the natural sweetness of the pineapple is transformed into a refreshing tartness, while the ginger provides a subtle, warming prickle that lingers into the finish. Despite the bold adjuncts, the base remains light and effervescent, showcasing a masterful balance between fruit acidity and spice. It is a crisp, bone-dry infusion designed for maximum refreshment, where the exotic fruit character takes center stage.

Appearance. Pale straw to golden yellow (3–5 SRM); hazy appearance due to fruit and ginger solids. Sparse white head with moderate to poor retention, leaving minimal lacing.

Aroma. High intensity aromatics of fresh, acidic pineapple and sharp ginger. A clean, lactic acidity provides a bright backdrop. Malt character is neutral and very low; hop presence is non-existent. Fermentation is clean-sour with virtually no funk or esters.

Taste. Sharp, tart pineapple leads the profile, followed immediately by a distinct ginger spice. The fermentation is very dry, with the fruit sweetness fully fermented out. Bitterness is very low, serving only to balance the slight graininess. The finish is crisp, clean, and dominated by lingering ginger heat and fruit acidity.

Mouthfeel. Light body with a prickly, high carbonation. Very low alcohol warmth. A slight astringency from the ginger and fruit acids enhances the perception of dryness.
