Le Goûter is a vibrant Hazy IPA that emphasizes a plush, pillowy texture alongside an expressive tropical profile. The use of Citra Cryo delivers concentrated notes of citrus and lime, while Riwaka and Alora hops contribute a distinctively ripe peach and stone fruit depth. At 7.2% ABV, it maintains a soft, approachable character with a characteristic opacity. The hop-forward profile is lush but balanced by a low, integrated bitterness and a subtle, grainy malt backbone, leading to a smooth, juice-like finish that prioritizes fruit-driven aromatics over sharp resinous qualities for an easy-drinking, aromatic experience.
Appearance. Straw to light orange (3–6 SRM). Opaque with a characteristic hazy shine, lacking any visible particulates. Capped by a persistent, meringue-like white head with dense lacing.
Aroma. High intensity. Dominated by hop-derived peach, lime zest, and passion fruit. A clean, lightly bready malt presence sits in the background. Neutral fermentation with subtle fruity esters that complement the hop character.
Taste. Massive fruit-forward impact of ripe peach and bright lime. Low to medium-high perceived bitterness that is soft and non-lingering. Malt character is grainy and supporting, never toasted or caramel-like. Finishes off-dry and smooth with a lingering tropical fruit aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation. Subtle alcohol warmth at 7.2% but well-integrated. No astringency or harshness.
