This Hazy IPA showcases a vibrant blend of early crop Riwaka and Citra hops, delivering a saturated sensory experience. The Riwaka provides a pungent punch of passion fruit and zesty pink grapefruit, while the Citra—featured in Cryo and Dynaboost formats—amplifies the profile with layers of lush mango and lime zest. A foundation of pale malts offers a soft, bready backdrop, allowing the intense hop oils to dominate the palate. The mouthfeel is notably smooth and plush, typical of the style, finishing with a gentle, restrained bitterness that highlights the juicy, tropical character. It is an expressive and aromatic showcase of modern hop processing.
Appearance. Straw to light gold (4 SRM). Opaque haze with a luminous, healthy shine. Thick, rocky white head with excellent retention and persistent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity. Explosive passion fruit and pungent grapefruit from the Riwaka hops, followed by bright mango, tangerine, and lime citrus from the Citra. Lightly bready, neutral malt in the background with a clean fermentation profile.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma. Dominant notes of tropical mango and passion fruit with a zesty lime mid-palate. Low to moderate bitterness that is soft and well-integrated. Finishes off-dry and juicy with a lingering tropical fruit aftertaste and supportive bready malt.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation. Very smooth with no harshness or astringency; light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
