Bloom Field is a contemporary American Pale Ale that emphasizes a vibrant, modern hop profile over a soft grain bill. The selection of Citra hops provides a bright foundation of orange zest and citrus oil, while the experimental HBC1019 variety elevates the experience with lush notes of sun-ripened peach and honeydew melon. A grist of Barley, Oats, and Wheat creates a gentle, pillowy texture that supports the hop intensity without adding cloying sweetness. This light-bodied ale finishes crisp and clean, offering a refreshing floral character and moderate bitterness that invites another sip, perfectly capturing a bright, fruit-forward sensory profile.

Appearance. Pale golden (approx. 6 SRM) with a slight haze from the wheat and oats. Supports a moderately large, creamy white head with good retention and delicate lacing.

Aroma. Moderately high hop aroma featuring prominent stone fruit (peach) and tropical melon from HBC1019, complemented by Citra’s citrusy orange and grapefruit. Low grainy-bready maltiness with a clean fermentation profile and minimal esters.

Taste. Leading with bright flavors of peach, melon, and sweet orange. The malt presence is low but supportive, offering bready and slightly grainy notes from the barley and wheat. Moderate hop bitterness provides a balanced, clean counterpoint to the fruit-forward hop character. The finish is medium-dry and crisp with a lingering citrus aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a subtle smoothness and creaminess derived from the oats. Moderate to high carbonation provides a refreshing prickle on the tongue. No alcohol warmth or astringency.
