Pressure Drop Brewing

This Hazy IPA, a collaboration with Sureshot Brewing, presents a saturated profile of tropical and stone fruits. Aromas of ripe mango and pulpy orange dominate, supported by a soft, bready malt base. On the palate, the hop intensity is high, delivering waves of peach and pineapple with a restrained, soft bitterness that ensures a smooth, juicy character. The 7.2% alcohol by volume provides a well-integrated, gentle warmth that complements the medium-full, pillowy body. It finishes off-dry with a lingering fruity ester profile, epitomizing the modern New England style's focus on hop depth and drinkability over sharp bitterness.

Appearance. Straw to light amber with a deep, opaque haze and a luminous shine. It is topped by a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head with exceptional retention and thick lacing.

Aroma. High intensity aromatics of tropical fruit, specifically mango and pineapple, alongside bright citrus and stone fruit notes. The malt is subtle, offering a clean, lightly bready character in the background without any toast or caramel.

Taste. A massive explosion of fruity hop flavors including orange, peach, and tropical nectar. The malt flavor is low to medium, providing a neutral, grainy foundation. Bitterness is low to moderate, perceived as soft and non-lingering, leading to an off-dry finish that emphasizes juice-like qualities.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, smooth, and pillowy texture. Carbonation is moderate, and there is a light, pleasant alcohol warmth that is well-integrated without any harshness or astringency.
